90 in 90: Brighton 1 Spurs 2

By Sam Matterface

Tottenham ended a run of three straight defeats at Brighton, courtesy of goals from Harry Kane and Erik Lamela, but had to endure a nervy finish.

Kane’s penalty at the end of a first half they dominated gave them the lead, but Chris Hughton’s team carried a greater threat after the break.

As the rain lashed down Anthony Knockaert, Glenn Murray and Lewis Dunk missed chances to level before substitute Lamela made it 2-0.

Knockaert scored in stoppage time, and then fluffed a chance to level just before the whistle.
