90 in 90: Huddersfield 0 Liverpool 1

By Sam Matterface

Mo Salah ended his longest goal drought since arriving at Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s side secure a narrow win over Huddersfield.

Xherdan Shaqiri produced a defence splitting pass that the Egyptian prodded home instinctively, midway through the first half.

Huddersfield hit the post, had a legitimate claim for a penalty when James Milner handled inside the area and missed a golden opportunity in the last few minutes after Virgil Van Dijk sliced a clearance.

Steve Mounie’s shot went high over Alisson’s head and Liverpool hung on, meaning Huddersfield haven’t won a game in any competition for 14 matches.
