90 in 90: Bournemouth 0 Southampton 0

By Alex Crook

Manolo Gabbiadini’s glaring late miss denied Southampton only their second Premier League win of the season as Mark Hughes’s side drew 0-0 at neighbours Bournemouth.

Gabbiadini headed over the bar from six yards in stoppage time with only goalkeeper Asmir Begovic to beat.

Stuart Armstrong also wasted a glorious chance to ease the pressure on Saints manager Mark Hughes, who has now won just three of 17 league games in charge.

The draw extends Bournemouth’s unbeaten home start to the season but Eddie Howe’s team were never at their best.
