90 in 90: Crystal Palace 0 Tottenham 1

By Sam Matterface

Juan Foyth recovered from last weeks mistakes to nod home the winner that condemned Crystal Palace to another home defeat.

It’s now 181 days since Selhurst Park saw a home win, a disappointment compounded by a late miss from striker Alexander Sorloth.

In a game drenched by a pre match deluge, Tottenham grafted a win despite not being at their best, and lost Erik Lamela and Kieran Trippier to injury.

Spurs scored after a poorly defended corner ricocheted into Foyth’s path but could have been held when Sorloth drove into Hugo Loris chest from 6 yards out in the final minutes.
