90 in 90b: Southampton 2 Manchester United 2

By Alex Crook

Manchester United came from 2-0 down to salvage a 2-2 draw at struggling Southampton, a result which does little to ease the pressure on either manager.

Stuart Armstrong fired Saints into an early lead with an unerring finish before Cedric Soares doubled that advantage from a stunning 20-yard free-kick.

Romelu Lukaku ended a 900-minute goal drought to get United back into the game with an emphatic shot.

Ander Herrera’s cheeky back-heel from Marcus Rashford’s low cross concluded a frenetic first half and neither side were able to grab a winner.
