An 88th-minute free-kick from Dani Ceballos took Real Madrid back into the top four of La Liga, winning 2-1 at Real Betis.
Luka Modric gave Madrid the early lead with a left-footed pearler – nine of his 10 La Liga goals have come from outside of the box.
Betis dominated possession, and deservedly equalised when Giovani Lo Celso assisted Sergio Canales, the goal given by VAR.
Ceballos intervened late on though, his goal helping Real avoid their worst first half of a league season this century. Betis drop to 7th.
